The girls saw the the boys installed in the El Greco for a much needed a lucnh time beer (the men claimed they were severly dehydrated), before they went off shopping.

When they returned the boys were avidly watching the lunchtime movements in and out of the harbour.

'What are you doing?' asked Anne.

'Ferry spotting of course.' came the brief reply.

'Why?'

'Cos' it's safer than plane spotting silly.' And the boys fell about laughing at their whit.

The town rises up to the old castle.
